Jemia Kinsey Singleton

Board Member, SDDC

Jemia Kinsey Singleton is a communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in developing and implementing communications strategies and tactics that get results. Her strengths include public relations, community outreach and engagement, internal and external communications, and reaching diverse audiences.

Jemia has provided communications counsel and support for a variety of clients including Elizabethtown Gas, South Jersey Gas, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Walmart, GEICO, Coca-Cola, Voya Financial, National CASA, National Foster Care Month, Casey Family Programs, the Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey, the American Cancer Society, and more. Jemia has also worked in fund development and is able to combine her communications skills and development experience to benefit non-profit organizations.

A native of Atlanta, GA, Jemia is a graduate of Emory University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. Jemia also received a certificate in Executive Philanthropy and Resource Development from the Fairleigh Dickinson Center for Excellence.

Jemia serves as the immediate past president and Membership Committee chair for the Public Relations Society of America (New Jersey Chapter). She also serves on the board of the YWCA Union County and the Hope Chest Scholarship Foundation. Jemia volunteers with various local non-profit organizations and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and son.
